Fleur Rigby - counsellor

Hello... my name is Fleur and I am a person-centred counsellor. The chances you are here because you maybe curious about exploring therapy. Humans and human emotions can be complex, life can be tough and busy at times and we sometimes need some outside support to make sense of it.

My job is to help you by providing an empathetic, non-judgemental and trusted space where we can explore the reasons that have brought to this point. In my experience this personal development and exploration can be a rewarding experience.  I am fully insured and member of the BACAP.

My approach

...is to not be directive and tell you what to do. I believe people are resourceful and have an innate tendency to heal and move through challenges with the help of a trusted and empathetic listener. I aim to help you access that resource and resolve.

I am trauma-focused therapist and work predominantly with women. My areas of expertise include: survivors of  sexual abuse, trauma, survivors of domestic abuse, neurodivergence, chronic illness, female health and mental health. My approach is influenced by somatic and dialectic behavioural therapy.

I prefer to work with long term with clients as it can take time to create that therapeutic alliance between client and therapist. Though I can provide short term therapy if needed

Ros Lawson - Access Bars

Hello... my name is Ros and I am certified consciousness Bars and Body Processes practitioner.

For me, Access Bars have been personally life changing. I was losing hope after two decades of traumatic body memories, flashbacks, intense emotions and suicidal urges. The first time my Bars were run, I experienced peace and silence in my head and body for the first time in many years. That gave me hope that my life could truly change for the better. That I could survive and heal.

My approach

Ros now facilitates individuals, often who have had experiences of deep trauma, to release old patterns of limiting beliefs, emotions and behaviours that no longer serve them, to have greater ease in their bodies and lives.

Access Consciousness Body Processes are hands-on. The practitioner uses a variety of hand placements on various positions on the body, while asking specific energies to run at each location.   These energies invite the body to begin to heal, repair and create itself.  The client remains fully clothed throughout.

There are over 50 body processes which can help with:

  • Dissolving the effects of trauma in the body

  • Boosting the immune system

  • Recovering from injury

  • Fatigue

  • Correcting Vision, and much more…
